Notes:(by gutenmrgen)
It was a trekking for the first time in about three months.
It was good weather, the wind blows on mountains of 1000m class is cold yet.
I'd like to greet in Japanese to other hikers in the mountain, today I was able to say "Konnichiwa" to many hikers include some foreigners.
I was happy that all foreigner-hikers reply to me in nice Japanese.

 Greetings!
Sorry for very late comment.

I'm a Yamareko beginner, and just started to read MountRec Logs.( But only the ones above "B" leve )
I've been enjoying gutenmrgen-san's logs, after logs. (Actually, I'm really amazed how diligently your wrote them.)
Anyway, I also like to say "Konnichiwa!" to foreign hikers rather than "Hi!" Sometimes, I enjoy their reactions saying "KONNICHIWAA!" suddenly in a loud voice

 Re: Greetings!
tatsuca-san, thanks for your comments!

I am glad to hear that you are enjoying my MountRec Logs with strange English.
I try to communicate my intent in the text as short as possible.

I will continue to say "Konnichiwa!" to foreign hikers, if in Japan.
